WHO IS DUMARESQ?
Dumaresq (dju-mer-ik) is a nipaluna/Hobart based songwriter and producer, whose discography spans a kaleidoscope of alt-rock, folk, ambient, and shoegaze genres.
As a touring member of artists such as Fletcher gull and Harper Bloom, Dumaresq has played major festivals such as BIGSOUND and GAYTIMES, toured the UK, and opened for acts like Clea, Stellie, and Cousin Tony’s Brand New Firebird.
Dumaresq’s work as a member of Canberra-based band Maison Hall has received praise in NME, Rolling Stone AU, and the Music.
WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?
2022 shapes as a breakout year for Dumaresq, seeing him feature on a track with ex-Gotye/Triple J presenter Tim Shiel, ‘Heaven Inverted’, in the lead up to the release of an album in late 2022.
